
My experience in Access Program in Kara
In 2017, I was one of the forty students selected for the US Department of State program called English Access Microscholarship Program in Kara, north
Through this project, we aim at putting in place effective follow up and monitoring evaluation tools for the Access Microscholarship program after completion of the program. Also, this will provide capacity building for former Access beneficiaries to become valuable members of the emerging voices audiences. Finally, this initiative will enhance Access former beneficiaries preparedness to become potential candidates for US government exchange programs and fully engaged for the development of their communities.
Key trainings are offered to members ranging from leadership, computer science to entrepreneurship, project management, and more.
Active members have the chance to apply to scholarship opportunities, offered mainly by us universities.
Former Access students who are still engaged in their communities have this unique opportunity to be selected for exchange programs in the US offered by the US Dept of State
Career-oriented trainings are offered to the members of this network, they are well-equipped to enter work market and succeed their career and serve as mentors and coaches for current and future Access students
